This page says what Papagayo Fishing does with the details you send us. It is short, because we collect very little.
Who We Are
Papagayo Fishing (Papagayo Fishing Charters) arranges fishing charters and boat tours in the Gulf of Papagayo, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Where this page says "we", it means us.
What We Collect
Only what you choose to send us:
- What you type into a form on this site. Your name, email, phone number, trip dates, group size, pick-up place, the boat you asked about, and your message.
- What you send us directly. Your texts, calls, WhatsApp messages and emails.
- The record of your payment. We send a PayPal invoice for your trip. You pay PayPal, so we never see or store your card number.
What This Site Does Not Do
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising trackers and no social media pixels. Its fonts and photographs load from this site, not from another company.
How We Use Your Details
- To answer your question and plan your trip.
- To confirm your booking and take your deposit.
- To give the captain of your boat what the crew needs for the day: your name, your group size, your pick-up place, and anything you told us that matters on the water.
We do not sell your details to anyone, and we do not use them for advertising.
Who Else Handles Them
- Web3Forms delivers the forms on this site to our inbox.
- PayPal handles your payment.
- Hostinger hosts this site. Like every web host, it keeps standard server logs, and those include the IP address of each visitor.
- WhatsApp, your phone carrier and your email provider carry the messages you send through them.
Each of these companies handles your details under its own privacy policy.
How Long We Keep Them
We keep your messages and booking records for as long as we need them to run your trip and to keep the records a business has to keep. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your Choices
You can ask what details of yours we hold, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Text us at (786) 695-0420 or write to info@papagayofishing.com. We will do it, unless the law requires us to keep a record, such as a payment.
