What time do boats leave from Flamingo?

Usually 7:30 a.m., and the time is flexible. From December to April, early is better: the mornings are calmer.

Is Playa Flamingo windy?

From December to April the afternoons can be windy. The mornings are usually calm.

What happens if the sea is too rough to fish from Flamingo?

The captain decides if it is safe. If the trip is called off, you pick another day or get your money back.

What can I catch from Playa Flamingo?

Close to shore: roosterfish, snapper, amberjack and jack crevalle. Offshore: sailfish, marlin, dorado, yellowfin tuna and wahoo. It depends on the season and the day.

Yes. The shore at JW Marriott Guanacaste is too rocky to board a boat, so we drive you to Flamingo.
