Pick-up in Conchal
Conchal has no marina, so the boat comes to you. It waits off the beach in front of your resort, and a dinghy brings you out to it. Pick-up on the beach is free.

- About 1 hour from Liberia airport. Cars can reach the beach but not drive onto the sand, so you walk down to the dinghy. Staying away from the beach? We arrange ground transport.

How does the boat pick me up at Playa Conchal?
A dinghy comes to the beach in front of your resort and takes you out to the boat, which waits off the sand. Pick-up on the beach is free.
Is there a marina at Playa Conchal?
No. The boat comes to the beach for you. The nearest marina is Marina Flamingo, a short drive north.
Can a car drive onto Playa Conchal?
Cars can drive to the beach, but not onto the sand. From there you walk down to the dinghy. Staying away from the beach? We arrange ground transport.
Can I take shells home from Playa Conchal?
Please leave them. The beach is protected, and the shells are what it is made of.
Is Playa Conchal far from Liberia airport?
About 1 hour by road. Liberia is the airport most of our guests fly into.
Which fish can I catch close to shore at Playa Conchal?
Roosterfish, which we release, snapper and mackerel, around the rocky points near Conchal and Brasilito. For sailfish, marlin, dorado and tuna, you go offshore on a longer trip.
Can I bring my kids fishing from Playa Conchal?
Yes. The half day stays close to the beach, and the crew sets up the rods and shows everyone what to do. No experience needed.
